Ok first I have a 20g refugi up and running with a 4 inch SB and creato and 6500k desktop light. Know I'm about to add some Copepods (Nutrimar Tigrio). Know I was also wondering if I could add Live Adult Brine Shrimp to the sump as well? Would they thrive or just die?

My main question is once the refugi area is stocked and all nasty. what do I do? Just sniff the great smell or what? I'm mean do I net out the copepods from time to time and feed the fish in the DT or will the copepods just get sucked up every know and then into the DT?

Should the shrimp be good in the sump?

Wouldn't have got this far without the 3reefers!
So a big thanks to you all :)

dont bother with the brine shrimp, if you want a steady supply of them set up a hatchery, all you need is a pair of 2 liter pepsi bottles, and a few air stones.

the pods will populate the chaeto, some will find their way into the DT on their own, you can shake the chaeto in the DT for a few seconds to feed the tank about once a week once the population is well established.. search the term ppod farm here on 3reef for predhill's thread on making your own pod farm, tons of great info there.

    good luck

Brine shrimp only have good nutritive value immediately after they are born, so don't bother with them.

The pods will find their way out just fine.

Just thin out your nitrate and phosphate exporters every once in a while.
