stocking 20 gal

Hi all I'm thinking what are my choices for a 20 gal nano reef can anyone share some info if they ever had a 20 gal High tank?

and what about if I want to go fish only can I put more of them in there? what may be my choices

 

All nanos have really smal swim areas for fish. You have to be really disciplined and get only two or three really small fish, adult size.

Smaller Flasher and Fairy Wrasses, Neon Gobies, and small Damsels are good candidates. Get a book or check out the adult size before getting a fish. The maximum size is three to four inches. A

Anything larger than that is like having you take a bath in the sink, yikes eh?

 

what about 1 demsel 1 royal gamma and 2 or 3 neon gobies?

 

None of the other fish will survive the damsels hurrassment. Damsels are the meanest fish.

 

I agree. The Royal Gramma and two Neon Gobies would be perfect. No more than three fish total IMO&E.

 

Neons are one of the coolest fish. Check out the ones with the gold stripe.

 

can I mix different gobies?

 

Yes, but a pair of Neon Gobies would be the bomb over mixed gobies.
