    The only successful highly stocked tanks have either run big protein skimmers or had large fuges connected to them. If you add them, keep an eye on your params and consider increasing the amount of the water changes. You might start testing for po4 too. You'll need to feed heavier so you'll be adding more phosphate with the food.

    No skimmer at the moment, that will be around thanksgiving. I have been trying to do the weekly 5 gallon water changes to help with that for the time being. A sump will probably be added late december. All water is mixed with instant ocean salt and will eventually be kent reef salt. The reason I have the airstone in is because without the sump I didnt feel theres enough surface agitation to keep the tank oxygenated.
