Stocking a 29 gallon tall...

    Both are very hardy fish. A friend of mine has 5 fish, including a very young yellow tang in his 29 with no problems. The problem with yours is, it's a 29 tall. Bleah. Get a sump or something (a sump/refuge combo or just a refuge would be even better) and you could keep more fish in there. A fuge with an opposite lighting schedule (light on at night basically) will keep the oxygen depletion to a minimum, as well as control nitrates and pH swings.

    Ok, thanks for all the replies!!

    I filled the tank up yesterday and salt levels are good, maybe I should explain my setup a little better. There are 2 airstones on opposite sides of the tank, a protein skimmer, and an external filter (small). I don't plan on adding the fish fast, I need to cycle the tank and all so it's gonna be a while, then I need to get the live rock too. :)
