I have a 5 gallon. small tanks are much harder to keep, if you're new you will want to go as big as you can afford. That being said there are even 1 gallon sw tanks.

i would also like the hi fin for that tank. maybe a rainford goby, trimma goby, or clown goby. most max around 2 1/2 in. you could do some cool inverts like a harlequin shrimp or sexy shrimp pair. its just so small for almost any fish.

What kind of tank is this??? be careful dude this happened to me not to long ago my LFS talked me into buying a fluval edge for my first tank and 6gal is just plainly put to small to do anything with. it hurt but the sooner you accept this the easier it will be. And the cheaper it will be. What i ended up doing was just letting some snails shrimp and hermit crabs hang out till i could find a 10gal tank. Even now there is still hardly anything you can do with a 10gal tank.

Check out my story if it sounds like what ur going through right now i strongly recommend not proceeding with your current tank.

Too small for a 6 line. They don't stay an inch and they're very active.
My first reef tank was a 3 gallon Eclipse. I had rock, sand, mushrooms, aiptasia (LOL), a peppermint shrimp (go figure), a porcelain crab, and some small snails. Kept it for 4 years.
