As I'm planning out my 57g, I'd like to know if these fish I want to keep together will work. If so what's the best way to add them, ie what order and how many at a time. Also I'm welcome to other suggestion that would fit into this mix.

    Definites:

    - Orchid Dottyback (already have and he's peaceful)
    - ORA Maroon Goldflake Clown
    - Blue Spotted Jawfish
    - Flame Angel
    - Yellow Watchman Goby

Maybes: (not necessarily all, just whichever will work best)

    - Green chromis (3)
    - Lemonpeel Angel (not sure if will work with Flame Angel)
    - Barnacle Blenny(s) , I've got some barnacles planned so read these would be cool

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I would add the Clown and whatever Angel you choose last.

Make sure to introduce the angelfish properly. Don't let one get to established before the other.

IMO that will be too aggressive of a tank for a BSJ. Only shot would be to add it first and hope for the best. And as mentioned, your tank would need to be 100% covered. They also need a cooler tank. Other than that, add the clown last, the angel second to last. I would add the any blennies/gobies next.

    Good luck!

Yeah I really wanted yellow tang or Niger trigger but am resigned that these wont work. I didn't know blue spot Jawfish would be the least aggressive of the bunch, thanks for the advice

After doing more reading I don't think a BSJ will work well. Too difficult of a fish to maintain. Sigh.

    Other choices

You had a shortlist when you asked the question, but you might consider a pair of firefish or a royal gramma. I think they would be fine with the angel and chromis. Not experience with rest enough to comment.
