stocking advice

    Ive been asking alot of questions the past few days and wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped but now i want to get an idea about stocking.

    The tank is 45gallon FOWLR 36x24x12 inches and my first fish after 4-6 weeks will be a clown but what else would you guys add after that

    Oh wow.... thats a big question. Im a reef guy so I lean toward reefsafe tastes in fish. I love orchid dottybacks. I've always kept one. It has great color and is not agressive like other dottys.

    That is nice looking, and yea thats a big question but im not firmiliar with many marine fish so i want to try and find a fee kinds and research them

    I'd suggest going to liveaquaria.com and look around! They have the specs, min tank size, temperament, etc! Then out a wish list together and everyone here will help ya with it!

    a snowflake eel does sound really cool. would that bother the other stuff in my tank?

    Eels really don't make good tankmates. Not only will your fish be in jeopardy of becoming lunch Eels being carnivorous are very messy eaters making tank maintenance a real chore. Unless you are planing a species or predator tank I would steer clear of Eels.;)

    A snowflake eel is a peaceful eel, isnt too large, and wont eat anything it cant fit in its mouth. Mine swallows chopped squid and krill whole. Ive never seen a snowflake eel eat another fish.
