Just wanted to list my fish stock so far and get some input on some possible fish candidates for my tank that maybe I haven’t looked into. Looking for some interesting fish to add to the tank, add some characters to watch.
    Stock so far:
    -melanurus wrasse
    -6 line wrasse
    - paired ocellaris clowns
    -scooter blenny
-2 blue/green chromise ( had 10 put they pick each other off)
    - pistol shrimp
    - yellow eye kole tang 3”or 4“( my favorite ! Beautiful deep coloring and watches my every move)

So basically I feel like I have a pretty bare tank for its size , looking for some advice on some hardy fish to add ? I was thinking maybe a yellow tang or a scopas tang or tomini tang something on the small side when it comes to tangs.

What does the 3reef people think is what im saying?

What size is your tank? Is it FO, FOWLR, or reef? If one of the latter two, how much rock do you have in it?

I am pretty sure two wrasses is a bad idea, especially a 6 line wrasse and another wrasse.

They where the first two fish in the tank and im surprised, but they truly are model citizens in there, don't even peck at each other.. maybe takes out some blue legs from time to time but doesn't even care for the peppermint.

completely forgot about the must be reef safe part. Tanks a 72bow mixed reef with plenty of rock..80lbs maybe .. whole back wall is rock and hiding areas, front is basically swimming space

I don't think your tank is large enough for 2 tangs. Instead of a second tang you could get a dwarf angel.

what about a goby for your pistol shrimp? I love the pairing. There are certain gobies that will pair with certain pistols so you can research that info. based on what your pistol is. I love dwarf angels, there are a few that are pretty reef safe, there is always a chance that they could pick at corals. I have a little red lyretail (I believe) hawkfish that is the coolest little thing - very active and adds nice coloring. Blennies are also another type of fish that come in various colors or markings - they also are pretty neat fish.

Yes I love the pairing as well ! but I had a failure trying to make it happen. I originally had a orange spot prawn goby and then I want and got a pistol shrimp but it ended up being a bulls eye which doesn't pair with gobies. That was attempt one, so then I went and got a Randall and it was literally tiny. He went in the tank really close to the goby and went to work at the sand, never saw them pair, but within a few days found either a molted skin or that actual dead pistol because to this day I haven't seen him again. Since the other pistol digs too I don't know if he is in one of the holes but no luck. Oh an I left for vacation and came home to no goby... no body was found either.

I had a pygmy angle, beautiful under LEDs but lost him to an ich breakout and my store hasn't had one since. What other angles can be somewhat reef safe ?

    Midas blenny??

Coral beauties, rusty (I'm pretty sure is the type), potter's and flame angels in addition to the pygmy you mentioned are known to be pretty reef safe.
