    A Banggai Cardinalfish is nice.

A yellow coris wrasse is nice too. They sleep in the sand at night.

Both fish are reef safe. Just make sure you have enough live rock.

Make sure you stick with reef-safe fish, or there will be a lot of fighting.

    What you want is harmony.

Then your corals will be safe.

.. .. and not end up dead.

You could try a dwarf angel, just keep it very well fed and hope its not like the very few out there that like to nip on corals.

Check out the smaller varieties of flasher or fairy wrasses, they have some nice colors and are interesting to watch, try for a male/female pair/trio to see some interesting mating behavior.

I like the lawnmower blennies. They are very personable and unique. I also like all gobies. They sift the sand and come in colorful varieties. But be careful...they jump. And a cleaner shrimp....I think every reef should have one. they are fasinating especially when they hop on a fish to clean em.

All beautiful choices, mattheuw1--OP beware however--sand sifters grab a big 'ol honkin' mouthful of sand, rise about 5 or more inches off the bottom, begin to swim, and broadcast this sand to anything that's underneath, ie. your corals. Many folks with sand sifters hate that they have to manually remove sand from their zoa patches, mushrooms, bubble corals, plate corals, elegance, or any other corals that are typically kept on the bottom.

Personally, although the pearly yellow jawfish is one of the most beautiful and personable fish--I avoid them. It's a tough call, and a thin line we walk in this hobby.
