    Any ideas on an INVERT for a newbie, non light sensitive and easy to care for?:confused:
    I have a 55 gal FOWLR (check it out)
    would they be ok with clowns or tangs?

    I have a peppermint shrimp, emerald crabs, blue leg hermits, and a featherduster.

    cleaner shrimp are awesome!!! and then fire shrimp are a little more shy but look cool still...

    those harlequin (spelling) shrimp are awsome dont have one but they are like $30

    Peppermint, cleaner, blood shrimp (all the Lysmata genus) are good beginner inverts IMO. You could also look at a brittle star or serpent star, they are easy and pretty hardy just don't get the green serpent stars, they have a bad reputation.

    Harlequin shrimp generally don't last long in most people's tanks because they only eat sea stars and most people don't have enough stars in their tanks to keep them fed, so be careful with that one.
