I need the weather to get better so I can start my tank... Else I may again do this...

So I am planning for a 55 with at least 70lbs of base rock, live sand, HOB, skimmer, heater, light, powerheads, etc.

I have been offered 2 jewel damsels that are weighing down the kindness in a relative's tank. The fish are fine, one is bigger than the other, and like damsels, they are pretty aggressive.

I have now also been offered the two blue devils as well. They are also fine save the aggression that comes with being a damsel.

I had wanted to get some inverts too. I thought of getting a sharper spined urchin and snails. Maybe even a larger star or a bigger shrimp.

If I do not get the blue devils, I had also considered a lion fish of some sort sized for my tank, mainly because it may be able to fend off the bites of the meanies. But I'm not sure.

Or, if possible, I could have all three of these types?

The lionfish will most likely try to eat the damsels. Even if they are too big for him to eat. I had a fuzzy dwarf lionfish which choked on a chromis which was bigger than he was.

+ 1 to the lionfish eating the Damsels. If you want a cool looks small fish for an aggressive tank, look into a Toby puffer.
