Hello all. I am looking for UNUSUAL and colorful fish ideas for a 29 gal biocube. I don't really care for clowns, damsels, or firefish. I have about 20-25 lbs LR plus LS (very fine granules, black). The 2 fish I have that survived the ick outbreak are 1 Randall's shrimp goby and 1 scooter blenny. Inverts are 2 skunk cleaners 1 emerald crab and would like a randall's shrimp to go with the goby. I have various corals and dwarf hermits.

I would like to add 2 open water swimmers, but they must be very docile or I'll never see my shrimp goby. Thinking of a Tanaka's possum wrasse, but looking for other suggestions in case I can't find one, or change my mind. Fish with interesting personalities are always my favorites. My scooter knows her name and comes to the glass when I call her (seriously!) but I want more color from my last 2 fish.

I see you said a possum wrasse, that is what I was going to recommend.

    Maybe a royal gramma?

Dartfish are really beautiful, but don't they all get too big for a 29? The bangaii's are also beautiful, but no color and no personality.

i would go with a dwarf angel, either a coral beauty or a flame. maybe a wrasse, but i also like the idea of a cardinalfish or two.

I LOVE the flame angels, bu they are agressive, especially in that small of a tank. I need something more passive to get along with my shrimp goby.

Cardinals don't really do anything for me. No color, no personality.

I would love a coral beauty, but I didn't think it would be happy in that small of a tank.
