dwarf angels will do fine in a 29 gallon tank, they will not be aggressive if they were the last ones put in the tank. they are only territorial to newcomers in my experience. also i have found cardinals to be very colorful and full of personality, you just have to get the right ones. you could do maybe a flame hawk, but those are aggressive as well.

Orchid or neon dottyback. I have an orchid and it's personality is AWESOME, not to mention it's vibrant purple color.

I think you should be fine....live aquarias minimum is 30 g for dartfish. What r the dimensions of your tank? Zebra dartfish gets up to 4" an the others are somewhat bigger. I
Can't wait until I get mine in a few weeks!

I wouldn't do a flasher wrasse in a 30, not enough room for when they get going.
What about an orange-lined cardinal or a Fowleria cardinal?

OK, any suggestions BESIDES cardinals? I really don't like cardinals. I prefer fish that at least seem intelligent. The ones my dad had just sat there like lumps. They were VERY boring and dissapointing compared to the wonderful personalities of say my scooter or the coral beauty. Really starting to lean towards another coral beauty, possum wrasse (NOT the ugly gray one) or royal gramma. Are gramma's hiders? If I'm only adding 2 more fish I want them to be fish I'll actually SEE.

No idea about the gramma, never had one. You would probably like the white banded possum wrasse then.

If you don't want one of the larger dwarf angels, you could always get a cherub angel. They get 3 inches max and are very active. I love mine, he has a very distinct personality. Swimming all over the tank, in and out of the rockwork.

I noticed you said you had corals too though. I believe he just recently started having a taste for my trachy. He hasn't touched anything else. I have a clam coming in on thursday, so I'm worried he might nip at that too.

I really want a larger tank so I have more options :) but no space or funding for a larger system :( . I really do LOVE the white banded possum wrasse, it's one of my favorites. I adore the cherub angels, but they are not docile enough for my orange stripe prawn goby (Randall's shrimp goby). He's so pretty, but very shy and won't come out if there are boisterous fish with him. I really really do appreciate all the suggestions, I need as many as I can get as you can see :) since I have such limited space and a very timid fish :) Anything else? Something that might get along well with the possum?

Hmm, my cherub is the little a*hole of my tank, but he doesn't harass any other fish really.

I have a firefish which is extremely timid and the angel doesn't bother him.

Maybe a purple or helfrichi firefish? I wouldn't call my regular firefish an active swimmer, but whenever the lights are on he is always right in the middle of my tank swimming. Loves the current of the power heads.

Dimensions are roughly 20x20x19 (plus fractions of inches on each measurement) 4 inches might be pushing it. I wanted to keep them all at 3.5 or less full grown.
