stocking list... any ideas

ok i have:

2 clownfish

a lawnmower blenny

mated pair of coral banded shrimp

and my cleanup crew:


brittle starfish

emerald crab

snails and hermit crabs.


i want to add a firefish and a yellow watchman goby/ shrimp combo. does anyone have any more ideas??

Once you've added your firefish and goby/shrimp combo, you will be at the fish capacity of your 30g tank. So I wouldn't recommend adding more fish at that point.

And I certainly would not recommend anthias (even one), as they tend to need a lot of swimming room, feeding several times a day, and tend not to be a good choice for new hobbyists.

 

I think 3 fish is about as much as I personally would put in a 30 gallon. Maybe the watchman/pistol pair would fit as well. If those clowns pair off and start spawning you might run into crowding issues since they can claim a decent amount of territory.
