This is the stocking list I've come up with so far for the 210gallon. Let me know what you think! And help me pick some Wrasse!

    5 Blue/Green Chromis
    2 Royal Gramma
    2 Black Percula Clowns
1 scooter blenny (rescued him from our tank at the store because the hawkfish had it in for him)
    ^^ In tank

2 ORA Spotted Mandarin Dragonet (readily accepts pellets)
    Ordered^

I'm thinking something like this for the rest
    1 Yellow Tang
    1 Blonde Naso Tang
    1 Sailfin Tang
    1 Powder blue tang
    1 Firefish
    2-3 engineer goby
    2-3 Flasher Wrasse

What's a good reef safe wrasse combo to get some good flashing going on?

Where did you get the Mandarin that is eating pellets? I have a green mandarin in my 125 that is getting really fat. I dont feed him anything. But I keep wondering if he will ever run out of food. He does not take prepared foods.

ORA is a big breeder that was able to successfully breed them in captivity and they train them to eat pellets and frozen foods.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
My only suggestion is consider a harem of firefish. If you get 3-5 while young, you can usually order them, they make a very nice addition.

That would be very cool!! I may throw in an Anthias if a nice one pops up somewhere.

Do you think I will have any issues with the tang combination? Or should that be different enough shapes/sizes to be ok?

I am not good with tangs, sorry.

Tangs I leave to member RedGambit.

Anthias are a great choice IMO.

The yellow and sailfin are both zebrasoma, so you may see some fighting especially when they get bigger. To be on the safe side, you could switch one out for a tang in the bristletooth family, but in that size tank, you may not have problems anyway. Check out melanurus wrasses.

You've left the door rather wide open with the wrasse question. ;)

First though, I realize it's a 210, but I think you're planning to stock it a bit on the heavy side. I'd probably cut out a tang or two. Also, engineer gobys get bigger than you'd think, plus they can really cause a rock slide with as much sand sifting as they do. Do make sure your rockwork is stable and not relying on the sandbed.

For wrasses, you can do any of the following genus (or a mix of these): Cirrhilabrus, Halichoeres (some exceptions), Paracheilinus, Macropharyngodon (rather delicate), or even Wetmorella. I do not like (nor recommend) the Pseudocheilinops genus.

If you're set on flasher wrasses, you could do a trio of one species, or 3 different species without any problems. Don't keep a single flasher by itself without any other wrasses as they tend not to do well.

I'll probably end up skipping the Powder Blue.. I love them but just know I would get ich out break after ich out break.. And I don't want the risk.

Do I need to put all the wrasse in at the same time? And I assume they all have to be males.
