I have a 55 gallon long FO (FOWLR?) and I am waiting for the cycling to end. Currently I have a Pink Skunk Clown, 20pds of LR (plan for more), and 40pds of live sand.
I may go into corals down the road
    Here are my favorite fishes:
    Yellowhead Jawfish
    Clown Fairy Wrasse
Falco Hawkfish (though I want some inverts:()
    Atlantic Pygmy Angel
    Kole Tang
    Bristletooth Tomini Tang
    Humu Humu Trigger
    My planned stocking list:
    1 Kole or Tomini Tang
    1 Pink Skunk Clown
    1 Yellowhead Jawfish
and MAYBE a dwarf angel or wrasse:confused:

Now before the tang police come in, I am a total newbie, but have heard of happy kole tangs in 55 longs.
I really want a big show peice and maybe 2 or 3 smaller 3 inch fish

Please advise or suggest a new list!
    Thanks:cheesy:!!!

That tank is too small for any Tang or Trigger, and if you want to eventually get corals an angel may not be the way to go. A kole is small and can live in a 55 if they must, but be sure to have an established tank with plenty of algae (ie not a freshly cycled tank, give it about 6more months). I've considered having one, but I decided that I couldnt keep a large active fish in a small tank.
A second Pink skunk would be a good addition (smaller than the first one)
I would vote for about 40 more lbs of rock, a nice jawfish, a 2nd pink skunk and maybe a wrasse (JMO) but that'd be about your limit.

    Thanks for all your help

    How about:
    1 Yellowhead Jawfish
1 Wrasse Ornate or Clown Fairy
    1 More Pink Skunk Clown
    OR:
    1 Kole Tang
    1 Pink Skunk
1 Clown Fairy Wrasse or a 3 inch fish like it
Soooo many choices, but I like option 2

That would be nice if they did(just dont get your hopes up too high and you'll never be disappointed;D)
Another suggestion I would personally recommend is a Pistol shrimp/Goby pair. Fun to watch and a lovely addition IME.

Option 2 would be pushing it a little with 3 fish that all get over 4". So long as you dont get an itch for more fish (as we all do, lol) it should be fine.
