    180g FOWLR tank

So being new I have some stocking ?'s

What do you think of this

    1 black volitan
    1 dwarf fuzzy lion
    1 yellow tank
    1 dogface or porcupine puffer
    1 Picasso trigger
    2 snowflake eels

Also was thinking about a emporer angel.
Can I put star fish in with this stock? Or will the puffer eat it?

Any advice or suggestions will help and be appreciated. Thanks

Lions are very slow passive fish. They are really docile animals and only attack in self defense. Puffers and Triggers on the other hand are very aggressive and are known to attack the lion fish.

I have not kept them but could only imagine 2 outcomes, the lion dies or the aggressor gets stung while attacking and dies. Look up Greg and Renee on these forums they are the experts in that area

Triggers and puffers tend to harass and bite off a lion fish's fins.

That's also overstocking it. Those puffers would be a football upscaled to about 1.5 feet when fully grown. They won't have any room in there with everything else. I wouldn't do 2 snowflakes either.

Also, if you want big fish, I highly suggest you find a way of having a huge sump underneath. Otherwise, frequent 25% water changes are going to be painfully slow and time consuming, and cost a lot.

I feel like that would make a great meal for an eel (or even a lion)...

They also need peaceful tankmates, which puffers & triggers are not. Otherwise I love BSJ (I have one myself :) )

So what can you suggest instead of those. What predators go well with lions? How many tangs can I keep in there together
