My 2-gallon reef tank is going thru its cycle now.
I wanted to know what type of coral, fish, inverts; could I put in my tank after it's cycled?
I know I won’t be able to put much in there, but I want at least one fish, some coral, and maybe a shrimp. And what kind of clean up crew should I get:confused:

Only fish that comes to mind that would work in that size of a tank is a clown goby...or nothing at all. That's a very small sized tank. Maybe a few shrimps? As far as coral, anything that fits really, given the right lighting and parameters.

What are you planning on using for lights? Filter?

That's pretty small, so you need to stick with tiny fish that aren't too active. I think these are really cute and they stay tiny. Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Gold Neon Eviota Goby

In the description it says 30 gallons, but in the quick specs it says minimum of 10. So you should check other sources about this discrepancy.

Maybe a neon goby and a peppermint shrimp with a couple small hermits would work.

    I have a question.
I was told a goby only ate copepods, so I haven’t done much research on them,
Will a goby eat fish food, and brine shrimp?

Your thinking of a mandarin goby which is actually a dragonette. A neon goby will eat flake food . . . or at least mine does.

I personally wouldn't go with peppermints but that's just me. I had one go after some corals, and no it wasn't a camel shrimp. You could always look at some really cool shrimp like the sexy anemone shrimp or something similar. The clown goby is probably your best bet.
