I would say no fish. A shrimp will work. I have a cleaner shrimp in my 3 gallon and love her to death. Great invery choice. I would also get a small emerald crab to help with algae. Mine helped alot. No to a brain coral as well. Atleast with that light. It has almost no output and wont support much at all. I would look into getting a different light.

Check out this 12 inch 50/50 PC light. Compact Fluorescent Aquarium Lighting: Coralife Aqualight Double Compact Fluorescent Strip Lights

This is what I am using on my nano and I am very happy, and so are my corals.

Check out my 3 Gallon in my signature if you are curious. :)

“That's a very small sized tank.”

    “That's pretty small”

“I would not put any fish in a tank that size. It's cruel”

    “I would say no fish”

I’m starting to see a theme
    :fish:+ 2 gallon = :skull:

Haha. I would say asking the questions that you are asking is the right thing. It is much better than jumping into making your tank without any thought. Then your tank will undoubtly end up as :skull:. lol. 3reef is pretty much our best resource. I double check just about everything I do with my tanks on here. Its very helpful.

orrrrrr you can always upgrade to like a 29gall and have 3 fish, and the tank is still small :D
