I just bought a 120 gallon tank (60x18x25.5) and wanted to know if this stocking list is ok for an agressive FOWLR
    -Niger Trigger
    -Humu Humu Trigger
    -Dog Face Puffer
    -Emperor Angel
    -Powder Blue/Brown Tang
Would this be able to work and if not give me some replacement ideas. Would i be able to add a snowflake eel or another type of fish or would that make the tank too crowded and just keep the list the way it is. Any help is greatly appreciated

All those fish when full grown would require a much larger tank to be housed together...a big puffer can own a 250g tank on its own, they're indeterminate growth, so they just keep getting bigger and bigger. As juveniles they might do ok. Conspecific triggers usually fight as well... YMMV but it's something I've always been told to avoid.

Powder tangs are also very prone to disease, and any stress amplifies that sensitivity.

I wouldn't put an eel in with them, likely to get nipped at... but with enough rock to hide it you can take your chances. I don't think they would kill it outright. I've just seen a few eels picked on by puffers and triggers.

well what about a lion instead of a puffer? what other fish could i keep with it? and as for the list if i replaced the powder blue/brown with a purple or yellow tang would that work with the other fish and what do you think about the emperor as far as it having enough space.

Has anyone had good luck with triggers and lions together?

I have a niger and a small lion together in a 75g tank. They both got along fine. My niger trigger was wonderful and never bothered anything. The lion only bothered things it could fit in it's mouth ;-)

so basically it depends on the fish. I just am trying to see what will generally work together. Some stocking lists would be great if you guys would help out with what would work in my 120 thanks
