    I am
planning to setup another tank aside from my 135 gal. This time it will be A 90 gal reef. I only plan to house it with at least 3 fish and one of them will be a blue hippo tang. My question to the pioneers is, will the hippo be housed appropriately in the 90 gal? Thank you.

Yeah...i agree..a hippo should be no problem..Although, the smaller the hippo tang, the more likely it is to get ich, due to its lack of smile coat at young age...I would recommend getting at least a medium sized hippo.

thanks for all the reply. actually i will be moving my hippo from the 130gal to this new tank. i just heard from my LFS that he can get me a 110 gal for the same price except that the stand is not finished.
and this hippo has it's share of ICH already and the whole tank survived it with no loss.
another thing i wanted to ask is this, since i am venturing to the reef world. do i need to do something like a quarantine to the corals i wanted to add to the tank?
i have learned my lesson with my other tank and now have a quarantine tank for the fishes. any info is appreciated.

Be careful though. A fish that has had ich can still get it again and is likely to if stressed.
