To Screwtape and PackLeader, thanks for the suggestions. I definitely was leaning towards the tangs as I have also read that angels in "general" like corals. As to which tangs, we'll see. Also thanks for reminding me about the scooters, I think they are the second to the last additions after the tank has been going on for a while. The only thing I did not know was that Royal Grammas has a tendency to like shrimps, even cleaner shrimps? Tsk, tsk, tsk, bad Royal Gramma...

How does a six line or eight line wrasse sound for this 75g tank?

I personally don't like the sounds of 6 or 8 lines. I've heard too many reports of them becoming bullies as they get bigger.

Another idea is to check out a melanurus or radiant wrasse, I'm considering one of those for my 75 although they may eat feather dusters so I haven't decided yet if I want to try and keep some.

In terms of wrasses you might want to look into Clown Fairy Wrasse

Reef safe wrasse and a beautiful fish :)
In terms of the tangs I really really like the Tomini Tang, pretty fish, laid back and a great algae eater.

That link says they are kind of rare but we have all over the place here for $40 so that may be an old posting.

Just google "6 line bully" and you'll come up with some hits I'm sure. :)

As mentioned, Royal Gramma can be a shrimp eater. Mine took out several peppermints and at least 1 (maybe 2) cleaners before it finally died. I can't say I was sorry to see that booger go.

As mentioned, the scooter needs an established environment with plenty of pods. This should be a year or so out probably... but you can get one for sure!

I hate my clown pair and wish they weren't so danged healthy :)-X woops, that was a mean thing to say). They are bullies and food thieves.

I absolutely love my 6line wrasse. My fav. Tons of fun to watch this. Blenny's are a great fish to have... lots of personality and pretty tame.

One thing I have noticed, the fewer fish I have, the easier things are...

Several hermits... I'm a fan of hermits and all, but this is part of your CuC, so in the same breath as crabs, you need to talk about snails. In a 75, you will need a ton of snails and some hermits.

We also have a pair of clowns in the office but they are the complete opposite from what you have. When we feed them, they would eat a couple but they make sure that they leave some for the coral beauty, cleaner shrimp, and the scooter blennies.

As for the snails, how many is too many? In our office aquarium, we only have like 2 hermit crabs and that it - it's only a 46 bowfront.

General rule of thumb for your cleaning crew is one member for each gallon.

Any particular species? I have read from a couple of books and online but I guess you can never have too much.
