Stocking thoughts?

    i finally got a group of 5 to live together fine for about 2 years, although the smallest stayed hidden unless i was feeding the tank because he got picked on. I started with 7 and after a few months I had 3, then I added 2 more and that worked out, but it takes some trial and error with those guys. I personally think the 55g is too skinny (front to back) for a school of chromis. They actually get pretty big, the biggest being close to 3 inches but the smallest was only about an 1 1/2". I got rid of mine that were in my 75g because I wanted more variety in my allowed inches of fish. 5 adult chromis is alot of bioload, especially since they eat several times a day.

    I do however like the idea of the red stoplights.

    If you do go the wrasse route, the tank MUST be covered with 1/4" mesh.
