    Update #2

Well, I caught the last of the seven peppermint shrimp yesterday. It finally got hungry after I made SURE to not let any food hit the bottom. I had this guy trapped last week, but as I was pulling the bottle out he managed to houdini his way out. After that he's been reluctant to re-enter the trap, but I've got him now =D. Into the QT he goes.

And on a lighter note, my sarcophyton decided to make an appearance finally!

As you can see it's still shedding a bit, but I guess enough has shed for it to open up. Looks like it's even trying to stand up?? I hope so!!

IMO you need to get or build a fuge if your going to get a mandarin.
The pods will not be able to multiply in your DT. There are to many predators.
Maybe you could make one ? There are alot of people doing that on here.

Congrats on the trapping - cant believe you got all seven:eek:

I'll tell you, it wasn't easy. Or fast, had to remove cleaner shrimp from the trap twice, and half the time a hermit would spend an hour trying to get into the trap but they couldn't quite manage to get inside it hah. Finally got them all though.

The one spot is thin, but he has been attacking the algae within minutes of being in the tank. My kole is very shy, however. Hopefully he will come around. =D

1st night when i put the kole in, he got beaten up by my purple tang. now 3 days later, theyre swimming together and its out in full view alot. yours will do just fine. my 1 spot really goes for the nori on a clip too. just dont get stung by him. lol
