I stood there in line as if I was at Disney with two sugar-hyped toddlers waiting to get on a ride. Long, long wait….good company tho, was nice to chat with fellow iphone people. Plus the crazy sexy blond in front of me was a welcomed distraction from my tummy rumbling waiting for dinner !

I placed my order for new phones for the Mrs. and myself - $299 a phone is a whole lot cheaper than they use to be when they first came out !

So who else pre-ordered the 4G ?? What's your favorite App?

I got my wife an iPad for her birthday, but that 20 day wait from the Apple Store online was NOTHING compared to what I heard about yesterday. Accd'g to ATT, some orders went through, others didn't. At times, people were placing orders and receiving info from other people's orders. Crazy stuff! Apparently nothing sensitive was disclosed, like SSN's or addresses.

As for apps, I'm looking forward to the APEX app, but for now, hangman and my Gibson Guitar Tuner are pretty nifty.

Hi RS, I haven’t picked up the Ipad yet – but the wife keeps asking me too. I do look forward to it.

I forgot, favorite app’s…Shazam, Pandora and Star Walk.

PS. If Verizon had the iPhone, I would have probably stood in line to get one too

They had said that the online orders might not go through properly - double check your order to make sure its all good.

yea, it's all good. Now the hardest part is waiting. I had to pay the $399 price because I wanted to upgrade early. Sold my 3gs for $320.

lol – I love how the media controls the world. Unlimited at $30/month to 2gig a month for $25 will effectively save everyone $5 a month. I stream Pandora 3 hours a day, surf the web, text like a 16 year old and still only hit 1 gig a month ! 2 gig can be considered unlimited and a reduction of cost.

Iphone 4 just sold out within hours of the first pre-order day ! what does that say about the market? lol

My next iPhone purchase will be the one where AT&T is no longer the sole carrier. I still can't keep a call alive in the city, assuming I can make it in the first place. I'm not in a hurry to get the next i"Phone" that doesn't work as a phone with AT&T. Should have bought an unlocked one and jumped on TMobile :-/
