Teach your son not to mess with the tank.

Any of my children would take torture over sticking their hands in my tanks. Not because I've brow beat them, because I take the time to teach them the importance of not messing around with them.
They all know the fish is venomous and that's a deterent in itself.

    +1

Children can be taught without abuse. I've had aquariums since I was only 8 years old, and I've raised 3 kids to adulthood without a single issue.

    That's great Mike!!!

BTW, the amount of venom any of the species of fang blennies have wouldn't even affect an infant (unless there's an pre-existing allergy). With that said, I think that "Hands-Off!!! Unless and adult is with you", is a wise policy with tanks. People only worry about fang blennies, certain rabbits, zoanthids. However, there are all sorts of things that are bad. Take zoanthids. Palytoxin is also in many sponges, some macroalgaes, animals that eat sponges, macroalgaes, and macros. Do these things concern me? Not really. I was my hands often and if I have saltwater on my hands, I never eat, rub my nose, nor my eyes (mucus membranes). If your children aren't mature enough to remember these rules 100% of the time, it's the adult's responsibility to watch them (and preferably make them wear gloves) while in the adult's presence.
