    how long can you store sw i have a airtight contaner i was thinking of storing my water in. is there any benafit to doing this and will i need to keep a ph in the water. im just trying to get out of mixing water every week. this was intended to brew beer in but i never used it beacuse i got a glass carboy insted. also will i need to do anything to it to make sure its safe thanks for the help

    1400x - for a number of years in the UK , I used the same type, 20 gallon brewers bucket

    I made 20 gallons of salt water at one time, used a PH to keep it moving
    placed lid on as best as I could ( allowing for the power cord)

    and I did 10 gallon water changes each week - so 10 gallons was stored for 2 weeks prior to use in my case

    if it is air tight it can be stored indefinitely as far as i know ... if it is not air tight keep a ph to keep it moving and airated.
