storing water

    how long do you think it is ok to store water in 5 gal buckets for water changes i use ro water but was curious as to how long it can last in buckets before its no good

    As long as its properly sealed, i think indefinably.

    what i use is the old salt buckets and i put the lids from them on somewhat tight,do you think thats good enough?

    It should be as long as other stuff isnt getting into the bucket. I use 5 gallon water cooler jugs. The water cant go bad as there is nothing in the water.
