    OK, I'm stumped.

I have 2 Devil's hand leathers in my 300. They are on opposite sides of the tank. Both have been very happy campers. I think 1 got stung by a hammer and started shriveling up. The hammer is about 5" away so I'm not sure. A day later the other one started shriveling up. WTF? I'm wondering if the first secreted some sort of chemical marker that the 2nd is reacting too. I thought you needed to work to kill Leathers. Everyone else in the tank seems to be quite healthy. Softies and sps. I just did a 20% h2o change. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

    Thx,

    Bruce

It might just be sheding. My finger leather does that every month or so. Usually lasts a couple of days to a week. It will shrivel up and almost turn purple, and you might see some sort of goo comming off of it. So i wouldnt worry to much about it for now. Give it time and see what happens.

    Hope that helps

    Marc.

Maybe, I'm packing to leave for Vegas in the morning. Unfortunately it's for business. :(
