So I purchased a very mature piece or coraline encrusted live rock to seed our base rock. and now, on a couple of occasions I have watched something strange. What looks like two pieces of thin fishing line, about 3 inches long come out of the same whole carrying a little white package...the appendages extend, drop the packagee and retract, not to be seen again until it drops another package??! Is my mind playing trix on me!? Or is my lunesta kicking in..

Hmm...I have had many a run in with Speghetti worms...and I feel this is semthing different. I googled those snails...and I don't think so. It looks like it is using two cat whiskers like chopsticks to take stuff out of the hole, drop it and retrack back in the hole!

It is a spionid or spirorbid worm. Safe to have and actually part of your CUC.

Spionid. Spirobids are the little feather dusters. The package is probably poop LOL.
