Strange Type of crab found in LR

    That one in the link doesn't have the feathery things at its mouth. This is a tuff one to ID. Cant find any pics that look like it.

    That really doesn't look the same at all though. There are no black tipped claws and it's legs are much much thinner. This crab also has long antennae like an insect (3/4 inch).

    looks like a filter feeder, an the claws are structured like a porcelain crab. maybe a different/similar species

    It has the same nets just like an anemone (porcelain) crab!! look at the arms curled up in front of the mouth just like the anemone crab has. I'm willing to bet thats some type of Anemone crab. See this porcelain crab has striped legs.

    i was gonna guess in the porcelain crab family as duckmasher is saying. the "mouth" feature is whats leading me that way

    That seems to be it. Well since everything I can find says they're filter feeders and reef safe, I guess back into the tank with it.
