    Ok,

I know this sounds funny but, I must find a pink fish. I promised my wife before the adventure of setting up this tank that we could find a "Pink" fish. About the only one I have found is the Strawberry Dottyback. Does Anyone know of any other fish that are Pink in color?

Also does anyone have one of these dottybacks and how hardy are they etc...

I had one. very pretty but i would advise against any similar looking fish as the dottybacks can get pretty aggressive. Mine chased 2 of my firefish and a sixline out of my tank. As for other pink or similar colored fish and depending on the size of your tank you could consider barlett's Anthias... thats about the only other fish i know of thats more pink rather then purple/magenta. perhaps someone else will have a better idea though...

If you're willing to deal with the feedings and if you have a large enough tank, you could try a small harem of anthias. I'd skip the dottyback because as already mentioned, they're aggressive.

Definitely would advise to stay away from the dotty. I had one and had to get rid of it because it would attack every fish in the tank (even my scooters). I would go with the pink skunk IMO

i had a purple one(also known as strawberry) appearently some variations in there coloration appear. its one of my favorite fish, i wouldn't recommend this fish if you have timid fish like firefish. but mine gets along with a bicolor gramma and a sixline.

also you could try looking at some fairy wrasses for pink fish. or the athias stated above are a good pink fish if you have a big enough tank
