Stressed! helpppp

Alrighty... so! I went ahead and got the 40 gallon tank with the thirty gallon sump. um I have had a bio cube my while three years in the hobby and I know about the stuff.. but now how to set it up... and I don't know much about the skimmer... when I plug it in the bubbles go crazy and come up through the hole of the collection cup. I dont know what kind of skimmer it is.. I can't find an adjustment valve.. Its just in a big tote.. with all the live rock that came with the tank and the pump is in their as well. For now im just focused on getting the skimmer operating correctly in to incorporate air into the water for the rocks and corals.

 

Can you post a pic of the skimmer ?
There might be a way to restrict flow on the pump itself ?

 

Thats what I was thinking... I'll go snap a pic. It just sucks im not familiar with any of the equipment... but I know that the skimmer and the Rio return pump are both in the bin.. its just hard to see with all the live rock.

 

You'll get the hang of the new equipment in time ya know..
Took me a but to get my skimmer dialed in.

 

I hope... its all so complicated... I really hope I can keep up with it...

Looks like there my be a turnable knob on the outlet ?
Or the ring on the inlet ?

 

Maybe Can anyone Identify what kind of skimmer this is?? I have no idea. I'll try fiddling with everything I can.
