Good deal. Now you have a better idea of what stress looks like. Just keep an eye on future tankmates.

A buddy of mine recommended the Falco to me. He said he never had any problems. After I told him mine was dive bombing other fish, he didn't believe me. After a while, he caught his harassing other fish, like his Blue Throat triggers. He had to get rid of it. Hope yours behaves. On the bright side, they are relatively easy to catch in a bottle trap, especially when they are hungry. My Flame Hawk was trying to get in the bottle before I even put food in it. ;D

I also had this happen with a mandarin - it had nothing to do with aggression but had to do with food source. I made a rookie mistake and added a mandarin way to early. They are always moving to eat. Is the belly concave? I would add some pods to your refugium and DT. My first mandarin lasted 2 months - I have now had my second for 1 1/2 always eating.
just my 2 cents. good luck they are great fish.
