I just brought home a flame angel from my work that was shipped same day and now hes swimming in place huffing and puffing for air extremely stressed out and its doing nothing but stressing me out as well. Im not unfamiliar with extreme situations as i run a fish department , but im just seeing if ANYBODY HAS AN IDEA I OVERLOOKED....i turned on the skimmer in my skilter for the extra air and all pumps are left on but i keep finding him stuck to the intakes and he still has plenty of energy once i get him off. someone give me a miracle

He is just in a state of panic. Fish do that, especially on shipping. With the lights out and noises kept to a minimum, he should revert to sleep state and mellow out. Tomorrow, you will know either way......gl.......John.

thanks for the gleam of hope. ive eliminated the posibility of him being caught in the filter by placing him in a transparent hang-in breeder container

might want to supplement it's food with garlic for a few days while the shock wears off. No sense in the fish getting sick if you can avoid it.
