Strombus Babies Coming Soon!

Well, the strombus snails have made their way to the DT. I put the turbo from the fuge up top back when the eggs were being laid, it had an egg casing on it & they obviously hatched. So, 5 babies in the DT from that back in early March. We now have at least 2 dozen (that I can manage to count) of all sizes, so they're obviously laying eggs somewhere in the DT and really thriving. Not nearly as many in the bottom, guess there's just not enough food down there for them.

We have tiny babies, full grown, and about 5 sizes in between LOL.

This is a full-grown one with a turbo.

I agree, Inwall. I got lucky that an LFS we went to had some. He said no one ever knows what they are or wants them, he was surprised when I got all excited LOL.

I'll probably be giving some away soon at the next local club meeting.

Loneracer, they're very hard to find, before I only knew of getting them from ipsf.com.
