Strontium?

    ew ew ew ew uuuuuuughhh! [shakes and gags]. the results of lasik would be great and i've thought about it a million times but theres no way i could let someone cut up my eye... and i'm a tough farm raised boy.

    on another note. i would just like to take this moment to thanks each and every one of you. this is the single greatest site on the web. the people are knowledgable and genuinely interested in helping a guy out. quick replies, great and friendly feed back. seriously, we've got our own little family here. karma all around! not that this was a particularly serious need, but i'm just still struck with the help i've been getting from you kids over the last few months. laters!

    I check strontium occasionally and try to keep it around 10-15 ppm (natural seawater is around 8ppm). I have noticed that my SPS corals tend to do better at those levels. Regular water changes usually keep strontium levels in check, however I have had to dose with TM Bio Strontium on occasion when my levels fall below the 10ppm threshold I like to have in my tank.

    Sr works side by side with Ca along with K, to much Sr will kill the tank, be carefull dosing. most inverts die when Sr is over 30
