Hello all...I think that sometime during my recent move that my SCWD decided to stop switching. Guess that now makes it a CWD. Any suggestions of how to unstick it? Other thank ineffectively swatting at it on the back of the tank, that is......

Soak in vinegar and water I have heard works...

Give it a few good whacks on floor...

Use canned air to clean it out....(I do this once a year and has been SCWD'ing for over 4 years now.

Um maybe its broken, I had mine hooked up for maybe 2 days and then it broke. I couldnt return it because i did some modifications to it (glued on 2 90 degree elbows) so i opened it and the thing that spins was broken.

I dont know how it works modded but i would recommend not getting one. Considering how mine broke so fast. I dont even know how some last so long like omards . I would either get a squirt better even though it costs a little more.

Oh good gods, that's a mother of a mod!
I think I'll just give a vinegar soak a try, but thanks much for all of the suggestions, folks...

Muratic aicd if you can get it or that Lime away stuff from Lowes or other stores cuts it rather well better then just vinegar but that will work but not as well and the lime away or other scale removers
