stuck SCWD...

    How long would y'all suggest i leave the friggin' thing in the vinegar for? It's killing me having the tank ripped apart and only a old HOB moving water around...

    I can see a gear thingy loose inside the damn thing...

    So now I need a Plan B...what should I replace the friggin SCWD with?
    Spray bar? Just T the return to the two 90 elbows?

    When my scwd broke on the second day i had to just plumb the two returns directly. If you can afford it i would suggest an oceans motion squirt which is designed for 2 outlets and is more cheaper than the 4 way. Or you could plumb directly and not have wave action or even worse buy another scwd and have it fail.

    Quick update: About a week after I called 3iq (the company that makes the SCWD) I got a call back from them. I told the gentleman what had happened and he said that if I shipped the SCWD back to them they'd send me a new one. Don't know if this always happens, but I'm certainly glad I called. He also mentioned that in the next year they'll have a new and improved version of the SCWD coming out.
