stuff dying

    just in the past day my emerald crab and lawnmower blenny have died :-[.
    now the lawnmower blenny i knew before i found him because he hasnt showed for a day or so. the emerald i have no idea. they were right beside each other dead. my clowns are fine im just terrified that they could be next. i have a ten gallon that they could go in if necesary. the corals are all fine clams are fine, an mini feather dusters are fine. the lawnmower didnt have anything eaten on it or anything. i dont know what happened. any ideas?

    Well... question number 1 of course. What are your parameters? That would be the first thing I'd check.

    Good question. The first time my emerald molted I though he was dead.

    i got the algaqe bllenny a while ago. so yea i think he may have starved. the emerald crab look in tact. i kept them to see if anything looked bad. blenny was skinny so yea he starved :( i feel so bad. he ate prepared foods idk what happened. my test kits are sh.. i think so i dont trust them to much. the lfs does test strips so i dont trust that much either.

    the emerlad looks competely in tact. idk what happened. none of my corals are looking bad. clams look fine, clowns look good too.

    I'd recommend getting a test kit you can trust ASAP. It's going to be hard to identify problems if you don't have a dependable way to test your water.

    That being said, no clue what could have killed your emerald.

    i know i need a test kit. i may be able to get one soon but im not sure. i feel so bad because i dont have money to get a test kit to help anything. the emeralds arms are completely hollow. hopefully i have a larger emerald in there then. im just gonna have to wait and see if i can see him.

    I agree with Quinstar, get a dependable test kit and test your water ASAP.

    I hope it is in fact just a molt. They are so pretty right after. Good luck and I hope you find him.

    i dont have any money. unless i can get my dad to take me too the lfs right now and trade in my frags i wont have one for a while. the lfs is 45 min away and he wont want to. i dont know what i can do. i might be albe to do a water change.
