Not sure why it's gotten "snowy" over last couple of days. The actual water is clear it just has stuff floating in it. My params are all within normal range.

Do you have a mechanical filter? filter pad or like?

We have a carbon filter in the first chamber and live rock rubble in the second chamber.

I'm betting it's copepods. They'll often be seen floating around. Could also be bits of an unwary cleanup crew member. (occasionally a hermit will rip apart a snail for it's shell).

Maybe it is copepods, I always pictured them a little bigger but I have no experience with any of this stuff.
Whatever it is it's driving me nuts... I haven't lost any snails or hermits, they're easy to keep track of in such a small tank.

It's just detritus floating around. Add some filter floss to your filter and it should take most of it out.

    Thanks, I'll do that.
