stunner led's worth the purchass?

Wats up good people,
I have been thinking about supplimenting my t5's with a few stunner LED strips (before I go full blown Led) and wanted to know are they worth me even wasting my time? Are they just for show or are they going to help my coral growth and color? I thought I'd ask the experts before I go out and purchass two kessil cans with money I dont have lol!

 

If your getting Kessil's I think a stunner strip would make great "moon"/night light (In reality the moons glow is white)

 

Thats was my train of thought as well, but if there just for show then Im gonna save up and get the cans THEN worry about moonlights ;D. At the price there going for I'd like to only buy one but for 36 INCH 45 GAL. id probably need two to be on the safe side.

 

IMO get one and three 12" reflectors so it makes it penetrate and have greater spread.

 

If you get stunners, you have to get the reflector. It's nearly double the light output that way. They are near useless without the reflectors IMO.
