I was gluing down a frag disk for green star polyps to grow onto and my cleaner shrimp decided to "inspect" the frag glue while it was still soft. He put his 2 punchers and 2 little feeler "arms" into the glue. Now they are all stuck together!

He is struggling with it a bit trying to get them apart. Im hoping he'll molt ASAP, I don't want to loose one of the original inhabitants of my tank :-/

No Bueno. I hope he molts soon too. I doubt he will know that is what he needs to do and he can't eat like that. That makes me think he won't molt! :( Good luck

I would be fine with this! When I got him, he only had 1 pincher. He fully regenerated the second pincher in 3 moltings!

I just dont want to loose him!

Edit/update: I just went and checked up on him. He got his pinchers free he cant open/close them though cause theres still glue on the individual pinchers. The little "arms" are still glued together though....

    oh wow.....that stinks!

Keep us updated. I would think if he got free he might be ok once he molts again.

He'll be fine- cleaner shrimp are the ninjas of aquariums- they will get into every situation, and get out of every situation no matter what the circumstances are... Just like me... a master ninja ;) ... Except I don't grow my arms back if I tear them off because they get cemented in the wall while performing a high stakes stunt.

I had placed bubble gum, kinda long story, in my tank and my cleaner started to try to eat it, one of his legs got stuck and broke off, he quickly regrew it. I think your should be ok, unless he can't molt for some reason

He's doing better! He got most of the super glue off of this feelers/arms. He only has a small amount left on each pincher which is preventing him from opening them up. He seems to be fine other then that.
