I have an Outer Orbit lighting system and I hate the lunar light layout. The layout is 6 lunar lights in this configuration : : : That is all great and everything except that the middle two lights are directly over the "middle brace" for the tank which prevents them from shining any light onto the middle of my tank. Would it be ok to drill new holes so the lights are on either side of the brace? Or would you not recommend drilling into the light systems panels?

I would say it would be OK, as long as you know that your not drilling into any electrical components on the Lighting system.

Never heard of outer orbit but it would probably be fine as long as moisture isn't going to find its way into your fixture because of the new holes.

It is a metal halide fixture made by current.

I think you should drill the panels the leds are on and plug the old holes.

That's what I was thinking, and yes it is a current-usa product.

    Thanks!
