Okay, my pseudo has picked up this new obsession that is really stressing me out! His new thing is to swim into my power head. I have the protective cap on, but he's really long and skinny and just swims right through it. This started a few weeks ago when I would turn the power head off during feeding. Well now he's started swimming into it while it's on!! He can barely swim through the current, but every now and then he can and it's scaring the crap out of me!

Has anyone else ever had this problem and what can I do about it?

    Thanks!

As soon as my powerheads are turned off my fish start grazing at them. I've never seen a fish enter one though. I think your pseudo has a death wish.

What kind of powerhead is it kc? A lot of fish love going with the current, but he seems to take it a bit to far .

I dont think even my Neon Gobies will fit in the protective thing around the powerhead/propeller. My tangs are constantly grazing on the power heads even with them running trying to get food :)

Yeah, I noticed him grazing in it when it was turned off. But now he wants to go in there while it's turned on! I mean seriously, what is his problem!! I think he's mad because I ran out of brine and he hasn't had some for awhile. He is not such a fan of mysis!

    I have a Koralia 3 powerhead.

Maybe he's having a withdrawal? I don't know if that is possible, but did he ever do it before when he was given brine?

Hahaha!! Maybe...? Did you ever ask him if he feels lonely or depressed? Maybe there's a reasoning behind his madness..
