    I know this is probably stupid, but im thinking of building my own LED kit from Rapid LED. What is the difference between solderless and.. i guess non-solderless?

    besides the solder less being more money, they don't have to be connected with soldering. They come with quick disconnect connectors that you plug together. saves a lot of time and headache if you have to replace a chip but that comes with the price. No such thing as a stupid question man. This hobby really puts a mind to use because it ranges from mechanical to biological/chemistry and all in between lol.
