What are your current parameters and what type(s) of coral do you plan to keep?

FWIW, most corals absorb DOCs and nutrients and therefore do not add to your bioload, but rather, assist in filtration. As long as you're not battling high nitrates, etc you should be fine.

Do you know the scientific name for the damsels? Too many that are blue & yellow to know which you are referring to.

I used to rely on LiveAquaria's recommendations, but I've found of late that they sometimes post inaccuracies, and make changes frequently.

Firstly, I've kept several yellowtail damsels, and have had one in my current tank for two years, and I've yet to see one over 1.75 inches, so I consider their 3-inch claim to be quite generous. Furthermore, yellowtails are not exceptionally active, usually hanging out around the entrance to their cave. I certainly don't see a problem with your nano. I will say that you should not add any more fish, though.

Ty br bill . My observation of them is just how you have said they each found they're own little comfortable spot in my tank and don't really bother one another . And they all come and go for food and return home more or less . Quite peacful . In comparison to the types of damsels I've had in past tanks .

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I had a sixteen Nano with the yellow tails and a fire shrimp, it was a nice little exhibit, oh I also had a carpet anemone. The yellow tails would reside just on the fringes of the anemone.

Good to know I always thought green carpete anenomies where amazing looking . I wouldnt mind such an addition of that sort and with just a hob filter and my korrila nano I wouldn't be worried about him getting sucked up
