    i need help on choosing a return pump for my sump on my 75g, i deciding from eheim, ocean runner, or sicce pumps. the main thing im looking for is which of the three is the quietest one.

    I've never run the first two, but the Sicce Syncra Silent series is super quiet. I've repumped all of our AIOs with them.

    Mags are good, solid pumps, but not the quietest thing out there. On the plus side, we have some that are still working after close to 20 years.

    i have a mag drive. they are solid as a rock. Not noisy, but not the quietest. Mag drives also dont like to be throttled back as much as some pumps. If it were me making the decision, i'd go with eheim.
