such thing as 12k actinic?

    I'm running two 420 actinics and a purple plus a long with 6500 white I want to replace the white with a 12 k pet store says they have 1 but its actinic. Is that right?

    No such thing as 12k Actinic. There is a 12k white light. Actinics run in the 420-460 range.

    It probably produces some actinic light. It's not 100% actinic though. Some manufactures just like to advertise their light have actinic, for those who believe in the known magical properties of such light. :)
