    It only takes one time to screw things up in the tank....bottom line, suction cup are an accident waiting to happen.

    I agree. After about a year in my freshwater tank, all of my suction cups started to deteriorate and crack and crumble. I would imagine it would happen a lot sooner with salt involved.
